9th Syawal - I would like to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all my family members, friends, blog members and readers, students and ex-students. I do hope it still not too late and we're still in Hari Raya mood.

One of my students requested me to post something about Hari Raya. I hope this could fulfill his wish.

This year we were at my parent hometown (Melaka) for 1st Syawal and supposed to be at Selayang during 2nd Syawal but due to my in-law family celebrated Raya at Kole Kangsar, so we postponed our planned to the 3rd raya. Because Raya was on Wednesday, we had plenty of time to prepare and did it leisurely (+ lazily). And of course the climaxe on 30th Ramadhan a.k.a Hari Mantai here. My sister and hubby reached home in the afternoon and she took over the kitchen for some other Raya meals. Menu for 'makan besar ~ last break fast' were 1. ketupat; 2. rendang daging; 3. semur (masak kicap jawa); .... I also couldn't remember other food.

A lot of thing happened during this Raya; happy, good, sad, opportunity. At first we felt very sad, then happy, then the good opportunity came and.... I hope everything will run smoothly.

Little Arissa also knew how to wish 'Selamat Ari Aya' and has her own pinky-handbag to collect duit raya. She also very sporting when we wanted to shoot family photo; wore her light green tudung. Before this, she refused to wear that tudung.
